Exemplar Genetics Awarded Subcontract to Advance New Therapeutic Models for Sickle Cell Disease
Exemplar Genetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intrexon Corporation (NYSE: XON) committed to enabling the study of life-threatening human diseases, has been awarded a subcontract to create genetically engineered miniswine models of sickle cell disease as part of a national resource that could lead to new treatments for the disorder.
